PLAYTIME, POOL TIME, AND WALKS

Interlude wants your dog to have fun while boarding. Playtime and walks is our most popular added service that both the pets and our staff members seem to enjoy immensely.
Puppies benefit from the extra exercise, older dogs benefit from the walks, the scared or shy dog benefits from the extra attention and begins to trust us.
Playtime consists of playing ball, Frisbee, or chasing a squeak toy in a large fenced area. During the warmer months, we have a shallow wading pool for the water loving dogs.
Walks around the wooded property are given to those dogs who do not play or are perhaps too old to play ball anymore. However, they still enjoy and need the exercise and the extra attention. The walks are all done inside a fenced area.
Shy dogs will get extra special care during playtime to help our staff gain the pet's trust. Our goal is to make the dog feel safe and happy.
Playtime is 15-20 minutes long depending on the weather conditions and can be given up to three (3) times per day.
A day at the spa. What a wonderful thought. Believe it or not, your pet will benefit from a day of pampering too! Interlude's Pet Paradise has a full service grooming salon. Whether your pet needs a haircut and styling, a fluff and puff (a bath and good combing), or just a pedicure (nail clipping), Interlude's Pet Paradise will meet your pet's every need.

Grooming is a very important part of a dog and cat's well being and health. Daily brushing at home and regular bathing helps to keep shedding to a minimum. Our grooming salon will pamper your pet with the full spa treatment, including bathing, brushing, a haircut, nails and bows or a bandana to accent your pet's new look. Please make sure you are specific with our groomer about the type of haircut you want for your pet. We want you to be happy with your pet's grooming.

Interlude's Pet Paradise Grooming Salon uses many types of shampoo, all of them safe and ph balanced for dogs and cats and puppies and kittens. Every pet is first bathed with a hypo-allergenic oatmeal based shampoo. After rinsing thoroughly, the pet is then bathed with a shampoo that meets the specific needs of the individual dog or cat, such as: dry skin, deep clean, hypo-allergenic for sensitive skin, a moisturizer or a natural flea shampoo. Some owners bring in special shampoo prescribed by their veterinarian, which we will use according to the vet's instructions.
